This term in Kākano 2 we are so lucky to be having and helping Mrs Symes. Here is an introduction to Mrs Symes. She will be joining us in class for most of the term!

  Welcome back! We hope you have had a wonderful break and got plenty of rest and relaxation along the way. We are looking forward to seeing your tamariki tomorrow in their winter uniforms and hearing all about their holidays.  Welcome to our new families joining St. Mary’s. Term 4 Week 1

  Kia Ora and welcome back! We hope everyone has had a safe and restful break. All of the teachers are looking forward to a busy and fun Term 4 with the children. Uniform Students are to start Term 4 in full summer uniform. Our Uniform Shop is open Mondays (8.30-9.00am), Wednesdays (2.30-3.00pm) & Fridays (8.30-9.00am) during term time. The girls’ summer dresses are currently only available from our school uniform shop. Please don’t forget children need to wear the school sun hats in term 4. We also sell school uniforms via our school website. You can order and pay online and pick up your uniform from the school reception after you have been notified by email that the uniform is ready to pick up. Hopefully, this will be easier for those parents who find it difficult to get to our uniform shop. Sunhats Sunhats are a part of the summer school uniform. Term 4 Week 9

  Week 9 We are now in our final few days of school for 2022. Thank you so much to you, our wonderful Kākano whānau for a great year. The teachers wish you all a safe and blessed holiday period.  On Friday the children brought home their reports with their class teacher for next year. There was also a holiday reading log in this envelope. It is so important to continue reading over the holidays! There will be a prize draw early next year. Monday We will be having our end of year school mass at 9am. Thank you for being at school on time and in correct tidy school uniform for this. It is a special mass to recognise our Year 6’s and all of their service to St Mary’s over time. Wednesday Whole school prizegiving is at 9:30. All whānau are welcome to attend this. If your child is getting a prize you would have received a slip of paper alongside their report.  Thursday This is our last day of school!
