Term 4 Week 3

  Week 3 What an amazing day we had on Friday with Andrew Chinn joining us. He was blown away by the singing during our Grandparent’s Mass - he stopped singing himself during one of the songs so he could just enjoy hearing the children sing. We had a great workshop with him and the afternoon concert got everyone involved, smiling, singing and dancing along to the songs. Thank you to all parents who were very generous with providing some lovely treats for morning tea. It was wonderful to have so many grandparents and grandfriends join us.   Thank you for having the children in their summer uniforms. Some mornings are still cold so they may need jerseys.  Please make sure that your child has their sunhat every day.  St Mary’s has the rule - no hat, no play .  So if they do not have a hat, they need to sit in the shade.  All items of school uniform need to be named please. Term 4 Week 2

  Mālo ni, welcome to Tokelau Language Week What lovely weather we have had this weekend.   The children had a lovely first week back and all settled back in well. What a way to end the first week back.  All the children had great fun at the colour run. We want the Thank you everyone for your support for our Colour Run. It was an awesome event and lots of fun.   This term in Kākano 2 we are so lucky to be having and helping Mrs Symes. Here is an introduction to Mrs Symes. She will be joining us in class for most of the term!

Term 4 Week 1

  Kia Ora and welcome back! We hope everyone has had a safe and restful break. All of the teachers are looking forward to a busy and fun Term 4 with the children. Uniform Students are to start Term 4 in full summer uniform. Our Uniform Shop is open Mondays (8.30-9.00am), Wednesdays (2.30-3.00pm) & Fridays (8.30-9.00am) during term time. The girls’ summer dresses are currently only available from our school uniform shop. Please don’t forget children need to wear the school sun hats in term 4. We also sell school uniforms via our school website. You can order and pay online and pick up your uniform from the school reception after you have been notified by email that the uniform is ready to pick up. Hopefully, this will be easier for those parents who find it difficult to get to our uniform shop. Sunhats Sunhats are a part of the summer school uniform.
